Welcome to my web site!

Please allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Phillip W. Morrow and I am running as an "Independent" Write In Candidate for President of the United States in 2008.

My plan is to get elected President of the United States by using the Internet and word of mouth.  I believe that I can accomplish this with your help and your write in vote in 2008.

While I cannot cover everything I believe on a web site, you will have a good idea of what I stand for.  If you are as fed up with both political parties as I am, enjoy the site!

Before you get started can you spare a moment?  Please say a prayer for our troops in harms way.

Thank you.

Vacation is over
Hello Everyone,
My family took a vacation the middle of September.  I also took some time once we got back to get everything caught back up.

Mid-term elections are getting close.  Be sure to vote!!  And when you do vote, make sure it is for a candidate that wants to defend the U.S. and not sell U.S. out.  The decision is yours, so choose wisely.

There will be plenty of issues after the mid-term elections.  I am sure that both political parties will want to run to the U.N. for this, run to the U.N. for that.  Well, we still have Iran & N. Korea.  The U.N. will do nothing as always except cost the American taxpayers money.  What the U.N. really needs is to be kicked out of the U.S. and the money being wasted (approx 7.2 billion U.S. taxpayer dollars) used here.

Remember to vote!!

Thanks,

Phillip

Mid Term 2006 Elections
Mid Term elections are getting close.  We have an Independent running for Governor here in Texas.  He is currently polling at 23% and has a good chance at getting elected.  Kinky Friedman is not a politician.

We will see what happens in November with all the candidates.  Then, it is time to really gear up for November 2008.  Do not forget to vote!!

Thanks,

Phillip

Still Working
I am still working on the campaign.  I have been doing a lot of reading as well.  I highly recommend "A Deficit Of Decency" by Zell Miller.  It is an excellent book!

Thanks,

Phillip

The Work Continues
I have had replies from several of the election boards to my inquiry.  Some states do no allow "write-ins" for elections.  I will do what I can in states that do not allow write-ins to get on the ballot.  My goal is to be able to win the Presidency so, I will do what needs to be done.

I am continuing my research into different areas that effect our country, as well as, reading books.  I just finished an excellent book.  It is "A Deficit Of Decency" by Zell Miller.  If you have not read the book please do so.

Thanks,

Phillip

Quick Update
I have been having some really good debates on myspace.com.  I had one person (Katherine) point out at spelling error which I have corrected.

I have received some e-mails back from various state election boards.  I will be going through them as time permits.

Stay tuned.

Update
I received the booklet from the FEC yesterday.  Today, I called two of the states election boards.  It looks as though I will have to be on the ballot in Arkansas.  They do not write in votes for Presidential elections.  I am sure there are probably some other states as well that prohibit write in votes.  Anyway, I will do what is necessary.

I e-mailed almost all the states about my intentions.  There are a handful that I will write snail mail.  They did not have an e-mail address in the booklet.

This is going to be an interesting process.  I will keep you informed.

Thanks,

Phillip

I want to "Thank" my co-workers
I just wanted to say "Thank You" to my co-workers who are helping me with my web site.  They caught a few errors and brought them to my attention.  I just finished correcting them on the site.

Thank you,

Phillip

Made a few minor corrections
I was printing up the web site for a couple of people at work.  I found a few errors and they have now been corrected.  Just spelling and capitalization.  Please remember, I am a one man show here.  My staff consists of me, that is it.  If you find any errors while reviewing the site, please e-mail me so that I can correct it.  (Errors - in spelling or misplaced words, not points of view).

Talked to Federal Election Commission
I just got off the phone with the Federal Election Commission (FEC).  I will admit that both times I have called I was impressed.  The people who took the calls were very friendly, polite, and helpful.

To run as a "write in" candidate, you have to file with each states Board of Elections.  The FEC has a booklet that is being mailed to me that contains the addresses and contact information.  So, when the booklet gets here I have some more work to do.

Remember, we can make history together!

Thanks,

Phillip
